10 episodes
This ten episode *beep* needs to stop .
shareThis is how the future most likely looks like for all new TV-shows, short seasons which also avoids utterly boring filler episodes to get produced.
Just look at past TV-shows with long seasons. Every single one of them has several very boring episodes in each of their seasons, episodes which fans today is even recommending to skip.
Look at Star Trek Discovery, which will be lunched in 2017. It will also be a show who has short seasons with only 13 episodes in each.
Because of this it will most likely also have better seasons than any of the previous Trek series, which ALL have several extremely boring episodes in each season.
For me its fine the way its done, because it insures high quality very good episodes to get produced, which people actually are willing to stick around and continue to watch and you have a much lower risk of budget cuts, which also can damage the quality of the TV-show.
it by no means ensures high quality episodes .
