oooh that explains it.

I was mad when the dad kept undermining the mom in front of the kids. Seemed over the top. But guess it was part of the plan.

It was so good! I wasn't expecting that at all. If lifetime did more movies with a good plot twist like that it would be awesome.

reply

I agree..It was very good. I kept thinking all this was in the wife's head.

I was thinking that unless we're only meant to see what she was seeing and not what was actually happening, there was no way this could only be in her head. And Kaitlin was saying and doing some suspect things, so I was really hoping Liz would be vindicated.

reply

Kaitlin was doing some suspect things. I think she really was sorry for what she did and just wanted to be part of a family. The husband on the other hand, was a major jerk I just wish she would have hit him over the head with the guitar instead of smashing it.

Yes this movie did have a different twist.

I am so used to Lifetime movies being like "Mom, can I sleep with danger?" Where a not too bright girl gets involved with a mentally unbalanced boy. She shows her lack of brains by ignoring signs that there is something off about him and ignored advice by family and friends to stay away from him. Its not until toward the end of the story when he goes total psycho that this idiot realizes that he is dangerous. I stayed away from Lifetime movies after that nonsense.

This movie was different. True the hisband's plot had problems with it but it was different. Loved the twist.

I did think he was too close to her touching her like he did and overreacting to that guy flirting with her.

Loved her destroying that guitar.

As long as they were married, she would have figured out long ago that he was a loser. Suspicion, distrust, bitterness would have set in many years earlier. I would trust anything involving him.

reply

I agree he was a loser the fact that he lets her take care of his nonexistant music career.
