Every trilogy has a flow.

X-men was always about Xavier and magneto
Transformers was autobots vs decepticons

Turtles be shredder.

I did wonder where they could go for the third movie but it just seemed to random considering turtles man foe shredder is frozen

So what would the third movie be about?

I figured that it's got to do with Shredders escape, Baxter turning into his fly form

Most likely there will not be be third movie.

It's box office is too low and people were banking on China to save it and it doesn't look to be doing much better than the previous one did.

That means they'll reboot the TMNT film series again in few years without any involvement from plantinum dunes.
