Did the sister die? What happen to the baby and the boyfriend? It was confusing at end.

Yes Lavae died, probably during her surgery or some time after. We can assume that her boyfriend is raising the baby as a single father.

THANK GOODNESS I wasn't the only one left scratching her head at the end. I was like, UM, ok?? when the movie ended. I assumed she died, but I came online to find out the truth.

This movie could have been really good, but it missed the mark. :(

I think it's pretty obvious that she died. Why else would she carry around an inspirational picture of her sister?
