Tommy Boy was just Chris playing himself
Party guy from Madison, Wisconsin trying to follow in his Dad's footsteps.
Hilarious movie, but the character was not exactly a stretch for Chris.

That was pretty much all this characters.
Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise as false, and by rulers as useful.
Playing "yourself" as an actor would be the hardest to do. There is no character to hide behind. All of your insecurities on display for the world with no one other than yourself to look in the mirror at when critics come out blasting.

Hello Darling
but the character was not exactly a stretch for Chris.
I never knew how much the Tommy character was Chris Farley's real life. Truth is stranger than fiction, at times.
No two persons ever watch the same movie.share
In some ways i think knowing this makes the movie better. In Tommy Boy its states that Tommy was a Rugby Player. I didn't recognized on the importance of this until i saw the Documentary.
