I really enjoyed this movie but I did not really like the end.

total unrealistic that the female raper killed her husband.
She was always in love with him and did everything he wanted.
So why the change? She didn*t give a damn about the raped girl.
That made no sense to me.
It's been a while since I've seen this but, if I'm remembering correctly, isn't she getting increasingly angry about her husband abusing the girls without her being there? In her warped mind, he was cheating on her if he abused the girls without her and she was more and more angry about that. Also, I think when he killed the dog it really upset her (as it should have). These things were chipping away at her devotion to him. Again, IF I'm remembering correctly, it would explain why she allowed her to go at the end.

But still I am wondering about her saving the girl. Cause she didn*t care about her at all.
And she said she was nothing without him. He was the reason that she had a home and food.
So what will she do without him?
It's possible, and this is just a guess, that after she killed him, she realized she was alone and in BIG trouble and perhaps they would go easier on her if she let this girl go. She could always tell authorities that her husband was totally responsible for kidnapping/abusing the other girls, that she had nothing to do with it or maybe she didn't even know. You know how people lie when they're arrested, especially if the other guilty party is dead. She could say that Vicki was the first one she actually participated in, but she felt so guilty, she let her go. That's my best guess. I was just so relieved she was let go and back with her mother I almost cried!

I also think that when her husband chocked the girl, she might have thought, he would also do that to her own children.
And that's when she lost faith in him.
Yeah, the mother-daughter scence was great! She also looked pretty much like the daughter!
