I'm planning on going to see it today after work but all the IMAX tickets are sold out for my area. Should I wait until next weekend to see it in IMAX, or go today and see it in regular 3D? I know some movies (like the Dark Knight and Captain America) had scenes specifically shot for IMAX and you would be missing out if you didn't see it in IMAX, but not sure about this movie.
shareApparently, a fair amount of the film was shot to accomodate the expanded aspect ratio, so if that sort of thing really matters to you, you should wait to see it in IMAX. Saw it this weekend in regular 2D. Was a great movie.
Our cinema here in Clacton only has 4k 2d but still was a very enjoyable film. which I give a 7 same as first
never been to a 3d one before the nearest one is like 50 miles from here LOL.
I also think rocket raccoon is best.
only saw the first the other week and best film have seen for about a year I think.

Obviously it's not in IMAX anymore but I saw it in IMAX on opening weekend and it was amazing.
