Not very good

I write this, not to troll those who did like the film, but to let those who did not like it know they are not alone in being underwhelmed. I am a huge fan of mockumentaries - This is Spinal Tap is my favorite film ever made - but I just didn't find this to be funny at all. Most of the attempts at humor were lazy raunch bits, which is hardly surprising because that seems to be the state of popular humor in the United States in 2015. All of the Christopher Guest/Michael McKean films put this film to shame because they relied upon actual wit rather than dick jokes. Maybe one day Hollywood will go back to writing comedy that isn't for the lowest common denominator.

Agreed. Too much dick jokes, silly accents, bad wigged attempt at humor. Nothing clever to say. I didn't even finish it, so bad.

I think that was kind of the point...this was very self aware and knew it was utterly ridiculous on every level...it wasn't trying to be more

You summed it up perfectly. Lowest common denominator indeed. I'm not above slapstick or a dick joke as long as there's some clever and wit to boot. I honestly don't see how this got the great reviews it did, but apparently we're in the minority.
