I tend to agree that most women would not get seriously involved in a person like Baby, but she was clearly not like most women. But there will always be those who act and want non-standard things and people. Consider the wife Goodfellas. She was excited by the fact that her husband and friends were in the mob. Did not end well of course, but it helped draw her to him early on. It was exciting.

She's attracted to him. To deserve has nothing to do with that. Girls you can buy are usually not attracted to you I would think.

Seriously? Baby was actually the nicest guy in the film, and he wasn't an imbecile at all---he was only a getaway driver because he was forced to be---because he was young and dumb enough to steal from this crime boss. He wasn't a straight-up criminal like the rest of the people in the film, and he clearly cared about Debra enough to want to leave his old life and run away with her. I liked his character, even if was a little anti-social and weird, but he still cared about the good people in his life.
