Simon

Shaun Benson is a great actor. I think his portrayal of the disturbed Simon was excellent. This was one of the better Lifetime movies I've seen in awhile.

Lifetime movies are usually lame. I cannot even finish watching the whole movies.

However, for this one, I watch the whole thing!

This was the first Lifetime movie I've watched in years and I'm glad I did. It could have used a little more depth into the characters but overall it was good.

Yes it was, it restored some of my faith in lifetime movies lol, really liked this one hopefully they are turning things around. After movies like Teenage Bank Heist, I would wonder why I am so loyal to lifetime premiere movies, but some of the recent movies have been pretty decent. I liked the one with Chris Klein as the school teacher, I even thought it was better than the Jennifer Lopez one that came out In theaters around the same time. I didn't want this one to end.

I don't think I've seen him in anything else, but I agree, he did a fine job in this. I'll watch for him in other things now.

And I agree with the other posters here about this Lifetime movie & Lifetime movies, in general. Most of the time, after watching the first 15 - 20 minutes of one, I turn it off because I can see it's going to be predictable & insipid, usually with sub-par acting and/or bad casting.

I think the problems with most Lifetime movies start with bad writing, then are compounded by the bad acting/casting. I have to assume it's all about the budget, because it's hard to believe Lifetime execs believe they're offering up great films. It just seems like, "This is the best we can do with the money we have to spend."

But this one was actually good...so I hope they'll take their cue from the ratings for this & read what's being said on this board. Maybe then they'll give us more of the same quality, regardless of the genre.

Sing until your throat hurts, dance until your legs hurt, act until you're William Hurt.

I wonder how Simon got a contractor to build that elaborate soundproof structure including bank-vault-type doors with keypads, without arousing suspicion. Shouldn't a request like that raise a huge red flag?

reply

Good point, I got the feeling he built it himself, if not I bet whoever did met an untimely end.

reply

I totally agree.Good actor and played a good creepy character
