is it good?

I got it for my wife for Christmas and we just watched it. I really enjoyed it and it was the first Python I had ever seen.

If you're their fan and/if that's you kind of humour... I know WHAT the Pythons are to the British Comedy, how they influenced everyone etc etc, I grew up with this stuff... but OMG from today's point of view, NONE of that stuff was even remotely funny. Those people are my absolute heroes and I understand how important that stuff was 45 years ago... but now I only got through the whole thing out of respect for those people.

Like, the only thing that made me smile, was the moment when Dr. Brian Cox got run over by Stephen Hawking, and even that was the cheapest example of slapstick humour.
