My final thoughts (if anyone still care)

This TV show is custom-made to fit my taste and sometimes when I love something so much I can be extremely patient before I finish it because I just don’t want it to end so I somehow waited two years before watching season 3 and decided to rewatch season 2 one more time because it had been too long. Now that I’m officially done, let me tell you that I’m going to miss watching an episode of this after a long day of work when the kids are finally sleeping.

Special Series Breakdown:
Daniel Wu (Sunny) acting: 7/10 (he can’t quite nail all the emotions with his face)
Aramis Knight (M.K.)acting: 6/10 (worst casting but he does improves slightly with time)
Rest of the cast: 9/10 (just wow)
Action: 10/10 (yep)
Gore: 9.5/10 (oh yeah)
Story: 9/10 (so many twists, alliances, betrayals and side switching) Dialogue: 8.5/10 (mostly great) Cinematography: 10/10 (perfection) Soundtrack: 8/10
Settings: 10/10
Costumes: 9/10

S1: Try cramming 100 genius ideas in a 10 episodes season: 9/10

S2: Try to dose 100 amazing ideas but this time with more episodes. 9.5/10

S3: Try stretching 50 great ideas over 16 episodes. Furthermore: There’s only two barons left and the new characters do not compete with the likes of Quinn. Not even close. I also felt like some of the action was less effective. Lower quality fights and less gore. 8.5/10

Now, here were my final thoughts as I watch the final minute of the final episode: someone tells our hero something like: “your mission on earth isn’t done because an evil even greater is about to come from within the ground itself”. Then I was like; oh no, if they were going to bring CGI monster creatures from underground I’m kinda glad they didn’t make another season.” BUT THEN! They show a scene of a bad guy finding a gun in the ground where there was the explosion. Then I was like, shiiiiiiit this is genius and I would’ve LOVE seing what they could have done with the gore and guns.

Yep, I’m sad but satisfied at the same time. Strange.
