Don't see the reason for all the hate.
It's conceptual. Who flipping cares if the in the real world, outlawing guns is impossible. It's fiction.
Loved the fight scenes. It ain't perfect but thats not a reason to hate the series.

It reminds me of the sci-fi books i would read from the late 70s - early 80s
and I've been a fan of kung-fu movies since the 70s
my theories/ guesses:
- the badlands started out either as a penal colony for Azra or disenfranchised citizens that wanted to live a 'simpler' life
- Azra is highly advanced
- M.K. has cybernetic or nanotechnology implants
- possibility one of the barons or a character will break out a secret cashe of guns or have a relic gun
I'm loving the world. i hope the show survives so we can learn more.
