Shooting will be for 16 weeks, with 2 full units in locations Dublin and Wicklow.

You've got to be *beep* ME! Only 6 episodes in the 1st season and a YEAR until the second. This better be as good as the 2nd coming of Christ..???

What happened to them shooting S2 in New Zealand? I thought I read an interview with Aramis Knight about that?

I'm really happy the show is getting a 2nd season, but 2017 is a long time away, unless they're talking about earlier than next fall.

So did I.

We at least know that some of the Azra scenes will be filmed in Ireland, as for why not in New Zealand, who knows? Maybe Ireland provided more tax incentives? Or Ireland had more places suitable for filming some of the scenes in Season 2?

It's anyone's guess.
