IMHO the trailer makes it obvious that this story is bringing out the worst in Tim Burton.

I used to like Tim Burton back in the days of Batman and The Nightmare Before Christmas. Lately or these days he's sort of been flopping most of his movies like his Alice in Wonderland and the infatuation with having Johnny Depp to be in a lot of his shows.
