The reactions
Ok, it's near the end of AUGUST... I needed a Krampus fix, so I started when Jordan and Stevie are going upstairs... (they really should have found a puddle of pee in the attic when you think about it afterwards...)... anyway... I never realized after the dad has gotten the evil angel off of his wife, and the aunt is simply walking towards...somewhere... he just starts yelling! I finally understood this time WHAT he was yelling! "BEAR!" The aunt/sister turns around as if he's crazy, and he yells it again! "BEAR!" I just HAD to laugh. Then Teddy attacks her. How DID he do that so seriously without getting into a fit of laughter. And I think that's the icing for this crazy movie... is just how SERIOUS the actors react to the chaos and weird evil toys... that solidified the movie for me and helped ground the movie into some 'reality'. Because they are taking it so seriously despite the antics going onscreen. And then the lewd aunt always demanding "WHO!?" And never getting an answer. Like this movie or not, but it has a certain glue to it that really brings the entire cast together in a way I've seen no mother movie do before.
