Despite such disagreements we have, I am excited too and that one of the several we can agree on!

when are u going? wanna meet up?

Sorry, saw this too late :(

I went the very first Saturday as well as the following weekend for a total of 3 visits (had the Rush of Fear pass)...sadly its expired now, so my HHN26 adventures are OVER. :(

Though I wouldn't put it at the top of the heap of houses this year (Exorcist, Halloween II, Texas Chainsaw & American Horror Story were all excellent as well), Krampus was a GREAT house, like walking through the movie set...all set up within Shrek 4D (how do they DO it?!) I wish there was more Krampus though...he only shows up at the end (in the snowglobe room)...not counting that standstill prop of him on the roof. Kudos to Universal for including it this year and pulling it off!

Now, if we get Trick R Treat next year as a house, SIGN ME UP!

did u hate anything? was there any zone of house you hated?
did u do the shows?

reply

Did ALL houses & shows a minimum of two times (American Horror Story was ALWAYS super full...so only got to do it twice even though I wanted to get a 3rd go in it).

Weakest house IMO was Lunatics Asylum 3D (the icon, Chance's house)....I just think the brightly lit, purple lighting, 3D takes away a lot of scares. Also the icon of the event deserved a better house IMO as in HHN past the icon's house was ALWAYS one of the best. All other houses were FANTASTIC! No complaints here.

The shows as always were AWESOME! The surprise was Academy of Villians...a high energy dance show right across from Mel's Diner....saw it TWICE loved it that much. Bill & Ted's jokes were weak, but its always an entertaining show as well.

Weakest scare zone was Vamp '55...a scaerzone set up with 1955 style vampires....greasers, nerds, jocks, cheerleaders all vamped out...didn't work for me.

otherwise HHN 26 sets the bar again! Not sure how they can keep topping the event year after year!

Uh!? I saw a You Tube of a guy going through it and saw one on the roof, one the breathed fire(or something)? through a hole, another that comes after you from one door behind you as you enter another door, one that comes out of the fireplace, and then the last scare just before you go out the door. It looked great and fun. Almost like walking through the house in the movie.

3rd generation American from a long line of Gottscheers... it was Drandul, dude!

That might've been the Universal Hollywood version of the Krampus house. read that he appears a LOT more.

Trust me, I walked through it 4 times...2 props and 1 scare actor of Krampus. Still a GREAT house!

Hollywood did a better version of Krampus house. they even got actors dressed as the angel and the bear,
Orlando's angel puppet doesnt even work doesnt even move... also the ending to Hollywood's house is better

reply

Think I did see the Hollywood version of the walk through.
Still great though!

I just did the Orlando walk through. Honestly, it was the worst house of the night, almost as bad as the movie, and wouldn't expect any returns for next year.
