What were they watching on the tv/tablet?

In two parts of the film they were watching things on their television or tablet. The first time is Scrooge (if I remember correctly).

The second time looks like a stop motion animation with some kind of elf in green quoting the bible. Does anyone know what this if from? I'm trying to make an analysis of this movie and can't find any information on this anywhere.

Really... I may have to take a re look at that... I don't know what it was either... but I had NO idea it was quoting the Bible! Now I have to know what it was too and what it was quoting...

It's around the 42 minute mark. I'm just guessing that it's quoting the bible, because it has that sort of feel to it. Here's the full quote (I'll put it as a spoiler just to be safe):

"And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them. And the glory of the Lord shone round about them. And they were so afraid. And the angel said unto them, "Fear not. For behold, I bring tidings of great joy...""

I've love to know what this is from and how it relates to the film but I can't find any mention of it anywhere.

That quote is from one of the Gospels (New Testament) and describes the angel appearing the shepherds before Christ's birth;
So it directly relates to Christmas, but apologies,I can't remember what they were watching but it was obviously a Christmas film/tv show of some kind

That's probably Linus from A Charlie Brown Christmas. This link has a video clip of Linus's speech where he quotes from a bible verse:
