shareI don't think I have ever seen what the true Krampus looks like. Most of the villages in Bavaria and the Austrian Alps have there own versions of it. The version I am most familiar with is the version where my sons live. Have a look on YouTube at Rauris Krampus. This version of Krampus wear cow bells that warn the children that Krampus is about. On hearing the cow bells most little children will run and hide. In the video you will see what happens to the naughty children that the Krampus catch.
