Theory On Krampus Santa Mask....

I have an eerie theory about the Krampus Santa's mask that Krampus wears in the movie. Looking at the mask it has an eerily realistic look and feel to it, what if the reason Santa doesn't exist in the world of this film isn't because he doesn't exist, but because Santa is actually long dead, and that mask is actually that of Santa's actual face?

A sort of Leather Face (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) move on the part of Krampus, but would add another darker element if it was actually Santa's skin mask and hair that Krampus wore.

I could imagine that sometime in the past, Santa had lost the spirit of Christmas one year, or did a bad mistake... Resorting in a battle between Santa and Krampus with Krampus being victorious...

I don't think it's thee Santa per say. Max and Omi still believe he's still around, and according to legend it was Saint Nick "Santa" who binded the Devil "Krampus" with chains on Christmas in that battle you talked about. It is a skin mask he wears, but it might be from a random corrupt lookalike Santa.

I've thought that since I was it. The mask is clearly of a human face. I talk about this theory a bit in my analysis if you want to take a look .:D

I never considered it to be a mask - and one of an actual human face would go a way to explain the slack jaw; that really annoyed me for some reason!
