What's the problem with black ppl saying the n word
shareIt's dumb and ignorant - I'm black myself and never say it. The conversation in the movie with the white guy asking permission had me shaking my head so hard. I don't think they should be saying it, but they definitely shouldn't have been calling the white guy it. If someone is curious why it's idiotic, I don't hear Mexicans, Jews, etc calling themselves and others their racial slur.

but really..that is just a dumb excuse. It is wrong if a non-black says it but it is ok if a black says it? that is some hypocritical racist *beep* right there.
In 1000 years maybe when races are so mixed there aren't any differences between races. All of my black friends say it, my black brother doesn't and my half Mexican brothers say it. I don't and I'm white: it bothers me hearing it and I'm white. I recently learned that Richard Pryor popularized the word and then he himself quit saying it after a visit to Africa.
