I am at episode 7, but I was wondering why Christine has become obsessed with exposing and exploring David's dealing with the firm? Is it that she wants to career climb and use certain information to blackmail her way from intern to a real position? I think she really is a sociopath. She has no attachment to any man and she plays her role very well.

I had the same question. I think 1) she's crazy. 2) She gets off on power/manipulation/attention. 3) She was legitimately pissed at David for not giving her enough attention. I think she really liked him but was hurt when he started to keep his distance from her.
shareI'm with your 3) she was really interested in David, he kind of used her, and as a revenge she tried to ruin his career. Or something like that.
