YAWN....

I really like the review of this show on ew.com. While gave it an A- which is a great rating and I generally agree with their critic. The show is a slow build. It's meant to be boring. If it was released one episode at a time the viewers would drop like crazy. It's meant to be binge watched not slow watched. The tone is perfecting, and I think the themes they are trying to convey the acting is spot on for what it is.

I agree with samhill above. Boring as a dog's @$$. Watched first two episodes and have no intention of sitting though more.

At least the 2009 theatrical movie had the novelty of an adult film star in the lead.

The whole mood of the show is like a funeral.

I'd say the first 2/3 of the season were at least watchable, but in the final 1/3 they just seemed to give up on any kind of plot advancement altogether...
