I have been trying to see if it is the end of the season or the end of the show, anyone know?

In an interview before the series premiere..Riley said she took the job because it was only a 10 episode season...next season will be a different girl..

It hasn't been renewed yet, but considering the show was very well received by the critics, I can easily see it being picked up for another season.

However, answering your question, despite the show being renewed or not, the end of the season is the end of that story. The Girlfriend Experience is intended to be an anthology series, like Fargo, American Crime, True Detective. So every season they'll tell a different story with different characters.
