Do you feel that a sex worker is really an empowered woman? Is her ability to live freely and have sex with whomever whenever wherever really empowering? Does this make her an independent woman? Watching The Inside the episode clips after on on demand, the executive producer would often refer to Christine as being independent. I really struggle with this and I don't know if independent is the best word to use to describe her. Particularly when she was with Jack she really was being degraded by him I don't see that as independent or empowering.
She is a needy, narcissistic, little cow who needs to be the center of attention it seems. She isn't empowered. When her old boss calls her a whore she gets all offended. If you were truly not bothered by what you do, you wouldn't have a panic attack about the video, since you probably aren't going to follow through on being a lawyer anyway. You also aren't going to be "offended" when people talk about it or drop innuendos. You would make them an offer so they can see for themselves.
I got news for you honey, you are a whore.
I have no issues with someone selling sex, supposed to be a free country. If someone wants to rent it, and someone wants to rent it out... that's called the free market.
She sent the video, she faked the panic attack, and is manipulating the whole thing.
Did she send the video? I thought the crazy client Jack sent it by hacking her email. He filmed it or was it her that filmed it? I may have to rewatch that episode.
I agree with you that it was Jack who sent the email. I believe that they purposely lead the audience to believe that it could have been herself (especially judging by her family's reaction), but it seems pretty clear that he filmed it without her knowing (getting her to purposely say the paying for sex line as ammunition).
There is also the concept of the face being blurred and the distortion of the voice. They gave us a million reasons why he would have sent it (her talking to his friend, basically calling him out on the stalking, which would have been humiliating for him). There is no motivation for her to send those clips if she was the one who filmed them herself. Why? Because if she wanted to get David Tellis in trouble, she already had ammunition with what she had filmed earlier that had no mention of her being paid for sex. If she needed something, she could have used that. Why would she distort the voice/face and include something of her admitting for being paid for sex (even if she used the roleplay to justify it) when she had something already available for her that would not get her in any trouble and only make her look like a victim.
Now, I think that's something she could have done eventually (she was obviously in the process of taking him down and had that as a backup plan), but I think Jack sent the email and everything that follows is her scrambling to get back into control.
this show is a prime example of what happens if you let women run the world they just turn to using their pu$$y's to manipulate men to get ahead in the world more hollywood trash .Maybe they should some day soon do a show on how the casting couch is real and show how much brainless women go to hollywood to whore themselves out for a bit of fame and fortune that at least would be a little bit more interesting than this.the main actress is a fuching star fish i wouldnt pay that bitch to wash my fuching car let alone slob on my knob shes lifeless id rather pay for a sex doll than sex with this chick. They make the characters so one dimensional void of feelings so .They dont have to spend time fighting off the accusations of this being a soft core porn which if anyone saw the last episode could see .that ,that is clearly what this whole show is ,porn with a narrative and a weak one .
I love having some mystery to the character without having to question who he is "
Certaintly you don't mean all women?. No one would lump one group of people in a specific category and say all are this way. That would be like saying all men who do this or that have a small penis etc. etc. I don't know if I will watch if there is a season 2 as the hollywood depiction is so pathetic.
