Season 1 Finale and Carnal Knowledge (possible spoiler)

Perhaps I'm showing my age, but in the Season 1 Finale with Christine and Derek, I thought of the final scene in Carnal Knowledge with Jack Nicholson and Rita Moreno. Of course, things were much more explicit in The Girlfriend Experience, but the set-up (you think it's real, but it's really scripted) and the reasons for what was happening (erection issues) were similar.

Anyone else agree?

Interesting. Remember Nicholson started fantasizing about the young ice skater in the white sweater during the BJ. Carnal Knowledge was way ahead of it's time.
