Ouch What Happened Here?

The series just got a serious nail pounded into its coffin. What an awful premier.Put us out of our misery.

I agree what the f happened there's no continuity from last weeks episode to this weeks episode- the premier was a "FLASHBACK" why??? This week we are seeing Murphy without his baby zombie and the Asian women who was nursing it- I remember the end of last season - but last weeks episode does not show me anything useful. What is going on show runners staff and writers ??? Stop screwing around and get the story lines together!!!

The common thought is that it was a way to introduce and give backstory on" The Man"
Who he is and what he dose.
Thus the last scene in last weeks show where it is showed that our boy Murphy is on the list

Flashback = Something far back on the timeline.

The "Flashback" episode is supposed to take place around season 2 eipsode 5 or 6.
Cassandra was still alive. Lucy was a baby. They met "The Man" aka the guy who will be the antagonist for season 3.

This weeks episode follows directly from season 2 finale, episode 15. Where Murphy and 10K are on Zona's submarine. And the group surrounded by the chineese army.

What the hell - why is Murphy nodding his head No regarding the question "what happened to 10k??? The kind of disconnected script writing SUCKS!!!

reply

Yes Murphy can lie but I was so busy backtracking because of the season 3 premier confusion that I had not yet seen the last part of episode 2 of season 3 but sorry -I gotta say that the writers should have put the flashback in lasted this season or better yet in order of the shows timeline rather than the premier episode of season three - bad show planning and bad writing is inexcusable for fans who don't appreciate read books out of chapter order - this stunt is Not creative - it's a Cheap substitute for good cohesive writing.

It's Syfy. They have used the same formula since the 90's even though it ends up costing them a ton of money in the long run. They're rather skimp on decent writing and cancel shows after a few seasons than hire good writers and build up a fan base.

That sounds quite plausible now that you mention it.The same thing happened with 12 Monkeys. It took a nose dive and suddenly a great series turned sour.
