So much better than Walking Dead

I don't even care. Z Nation actually feels like there is a plot and it feels like the show is leading up to something greater, like an actual purpose. The world they've created feels a lot more realistic (hypothetically if zombies existed) than any other zombie show.

The characters all feel grounded, they feel as if they experience real emotions; they tell jokes, laugh, poke fun at each other, but also care for each other and all share in their drama together.

The Walking Dead... it's just drama for the sake of drama. It's a soap opera with violence. It's a bad show and people want to believe it's good but nothing in the show makes sense. The characters don't even make decisions that make sense. They just do things to further a plot that is going nowhere!

TWD gives the illusion of being good, with all it's good production, but behind the curtains, it's a saccharin soapy with zombies as a backdrop, and bag of repeated themes that they keep dipping in to.

Z Nation gives the illusion of being bad. But more happens in many episodes than happens in whole seasons of TWD. They keep the zombies at the centre of the story, always trying to think up interesting and quirky ways for them to take part.

Some of the zombies (Murphy) are becoming more civilised, and some of the humans (Enders) are becoming less so (5k) and more zombie like.

I think there's a lot more under the hood in ZN. TWD just seems tired.

I choose to believe what I was programmed to believe
