He is a whole lot less annoying now that he is interacting physically with others.
I really couldn't stand his character when he was alone broadcasting but somehow just the little bit that he has been with the Eskimo family he is almost palatable.

No, hon, Eskimos do not live at the poles. No one lives at the North Pole, because it's in the middle of an ocean. And no one (aside from a handful of scientists( lives in Antarctica at all.
Inuit is one of the populations known as Eskimo, who live in northern Canada, Alaska, Siberia, and Greenland.
So, yes, Citizen Z is living with some Eskimos.
he's annoyed me for much of season 1 & 2 but i'm (shocked!) actually enjoying his storyline with the Eskimo(?) family.
