Does Anybody Agree Last Night's Episode Was The Worst Of The Series?
The highlights of next weeks episode didn't look very promising either. So, I guess the real question is...has Z Nation possibly jumped the shark?

shareWay too much slo-mo time padding and Murphy mustache twirling and monologuing like a supervillian, the shark is circling, but I still think the Maddy flashback ep is the worst, it bored me to tears and the "payoff" wasn't worth it.
shareNope, worst episode is still 1x09.

There are still 3 off the top of my head that were worse; The Season 1 ep that just featured Mac and Addy and Addy's backstory, and 2 last season that featured The Collector and The Rozwell were worse. All 3 of those you could've skipped and not missed a thing in the bigger picture. At least last night's episode was needed in the overall storyline with having to get 10K away from Murphy, and also how Murphy is going to proceed with his plans now that Dr. Merch is dead.
shareYes!!! Last nights episode was as bad as "Die zombie die...again". I was really disappointed. Most of this season has been a bit disappointing.
I hope it'll recover.
RRPounder, i agree that last night's ep is easily one of the worst eps this show has ever had. hugely disappointing. having solo character focused eps (10K's was last night, next week's looks like it's solely focused on Doc, etc) at this point in the show is just not a good idea IMO. the show is best IMO when it's the group all together doing their thing. this show has already done the solo character eps to very varying degrees of success.
shareIt's turning into a huge crapfest.
shareI honestly didnt think it was that bad, I just wish they didnt have the red girl with 10k hallucinating. It wouldve been better if it was 10k being chased by that guy and running into those crazy wild people, only to be so tired and hurt that he stops or ends up back at camp murphy.
Murphy giving in to his zombie craving for brain and knowing what dr.merch was up to. Unless she didnt write down some notes that the serum she was making would turn murphy back into a normal human without the ability to mind control people he has bitten. If the guy chasing 10k could figure it out a bit then murphy shouldve been able to find out more.
Interesting if murphy had some flashbacks of dr.merch and her time before while the zombie outbreak was happening and the different places where they were testing out cures. She was with that military group, so she probably has some idea of the main villain for season 3 or what their plans are.
I thought the episode was OK but it felt kind of like a Walking Dead style episode that is character specific that's are dragged out for too long to develop a character and wastes an entire episode of the season. I do miss the episodes with the team with fun commentary, adventure, etc though. Hopefully the show will go back to something like that if 10k reunites with everyone.
