What happened
This used to be a really great show. The latest season looks like the writers or the director both changed. It's suddenly gotten horrible.

sharei'm still somewhat enjoying this season but it's not anywhere near as good as seasons 1 & 2 were. i miss how each ep (in seasons 1 & 2) were the group coming across different types of zombies and people each week. this one setting Murphy's "mixed blend" gig is getting really stale.
shareThis season sucks balls big time. I binged watched Season 1 and 2...and couldn't wait for this season. What a huge disappointment. Its not even a shadow of itself. what the hell happened to a great show????
what Jordie?
i;m asking the same question. this season has been bad.
You can't persuade fanboys. You'd be better off trying to convince a wall. ~CodeNamePlasmaSnake~
They could have (maybe should have) wrapped up the entire series last season. Most of this season seems to be stretching the plots too thin, IMO.

Horrifically bad
shareI'm assuming they are stretching this season out so the next 'big bad' is Lucy, Murphy's daughter.
But it's definitely getting harder and harder to tune in. Although I did thoroughly enjoy the cuckoo nest episode, all the rest have been "meh".
If it wasn't for Doc, I wouldn't watch at all.
I can't stand 10K, or Addie anymore, I have no idea what happened to their personalities. Same with Warren... a lot of the actors seem to be phoning it in these days and with Warren, it's not like they are giving her much substance in storyline aside from supporting E-Scorpion, which is insane to me.
Murphy's had been semi-interesting in the past, but kind of failed to be developed any further, so it's hard to understand his motivations at times because it can seem very shallow.
I don't like the new Asian lady, she and her 'mission' just seem like a very contrived plot device. I don't mind Citizen Z, but his new girlfriend and family are just whacky and they seem like disposable characters, again very contrived and created to be convenient plot devices.
Riddle wrapped inside an enigma, wrapped inside a taco.
