Kevin Smith and Johnny Depp

I never thought they'd team up. I'm fans of both and quite intrigued.
Here's the link that brought me here,

Yep they had been friends for a long time since their kids was in elementary school. It should be an interesting team, me thinks!

reply

If the rumours are to be believed, they have already teamed on Tusk, Kevin Smith's latest feature due out in September. Depp is uncredited playing Guy Lapointe.

Why would they bleep out the word "party"?

Don't try to cash in love, that check will always bounce.

reply

Just saw 'Tusk'. Depp's first shot at Guy LaPointe should put him in the tank not Jason Long. Just saying.

reply

And what you said is basically gibberish.

reply

ugh. johnny's guy character ruined TUSK. now he'll ruin this one.

reply

I think Depp made Tusk especially funny. Except for his flashback, that took way too long. The rest of his work in the film was fine. He had some of the funniest lines by far.

I was excited for the team up until I saw Tusk. Terrible, terrible movie.
This will suck as well I'm sorry to say.

They have one thing in common neither can make a movie that makes money so they might as well flop together. Yoga Hosers will be lucky to make 10 bucks in an actual theater.

reply

Good things these movies makes their money back before their ever in theaters!

reply

The thing is... with Kevin Smith and Tim Burton hating each other, I wonder how it's possible that Depp and Smith became such good friends.

reply

They don't really hate each other. It's just that Tim Burton doesn't really like Kevin's movies a whole lot.
