I used to love Kev smith but this being PG-13 reaks of selling out, kevin smith is an R rated guy always has been. He's already being different with these kind of films so shove that excuse up your ass.

It was appealed down from an R to PG-13 with no edits. Same thing happened with Jersey Girl, and he appealed Clerks and Zack and Miri down to R when they originally were given NC-17s (he has had amazing luck with the MPAA appeals board).
The PG-13 doesn't bother me, though the miniature Nazi thing does as it looks so stupid IMO.
He's said numerous times that he wanted to make this movie for teenage girls. That's why it's rated PG-13.

He's made the film he wanted, with the cast he wanted, so I don't think ge's doing anything he doesn't want to do.
