For those at Sundance.

For the lucky people seeing this at Sundance, please let me know if it's good or not. I'm a huge fan of Kevin and have enjoyed everything he's done, including Tusk. I am, however, a little worried about this one. I'm worried because it's PG-13 and because I wasn't impressed by the clip they released. I love the design of the monsters and hope I won't be let down.

the monster designs are out there?

and FYI, I've not seen it yet but based on Twitter reports and actual reviews: it's not too good.

Images of The Bratzis and Goalie Golem were released at SDCC last year.

If you like Kevin Smith films it makes no sense to care about reviews.

Think this one may struggle tbh

Struggle at what? I only really care about whether I enjoy it for 90 minutes.

Struggle at getting a distribution deal,I loved tusk but this one may be a film too far I really doubt it'll hit the theatres that's for sure

Getting awful reviews. Probably Smith's worst.

Some of the folks I saw it with seemed to be unprepared. If you like late-period Kevin Smith, you'll enjoy it. I thought it was interesting because I could see a subtext regarding chastity and also an interesting dissection of Gen-Y entitlement, etc. All of that presented in a really goofy, extremely unique package.
What's not to love?

Here's my question, what is Kevin Conroy's role in this?

Without being too spoilery -- Very brief cameo that keen-eyed & eared fans of the Batman cartoons will love

The girls in this movie are closer to generation Z. People who don't remember a time before the internet was ubiquitous.
