I cant help but think the reception the film got it'll never get a distributor sadly,just have to hope Netflix/amazon pick it up i doubt very much it'll be seen in the cinema.

Reservoir dogs got a bad reception at sundance and was later released in theaters.

I talked to Mike and Meng last Friday night at a con and they tell me A24 is distributing but they are unsure of when it will be released. Kevin Smith also stated in a recent podcast that it will be coming out in the Fall and he is excited because he will be done filming Moose Jaws and be able to have the movies come out back to back.

Probably in the fall. After the performance of Tusk though, I have a feeling this will go straight to VOD or get a really limited release. Films like this appeal to a very niche audience.

Pushed back to september in order to avoid Summer movie season. Smith is touring the movie ahead of the premiere so check the schedule to find if it's playing near you.
