does Kevin Smith really have 5 mil to waste like this?
does comic book man even bring in 5 mil? Where did he get the money for this movie?

shareI personally have nothing against Kevin Smith.. his earlier work is a big inspiration to me - as someone who tried to make films of their own.. but i believe that ever since Seth Rogen got Kev back into the hard weed smoking, his work has taken a nose dive... instead of a rational thinking Kevin Smith, who (in his younger days) would've scoffed at this kind of *beep* being turned out.. we get a reefer addict who takes ideas that were better left at the bottom of a bong, and he puts them on screen... Red State was really his last decent movie, but now you can look back and tell that it all started downhill from there... Tusk was a poorly executed disaster, and Yoga Hosers looks evens worse.... gone is the Kevin Smith, who gave us classics like Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, even Clerks 2 - films that were funny, had some heart to them, but also made you think.....
dare i say, he's gotten complacent and lazy.
WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOUR FAAAAAAAAAACE!!!
Probably with the profits from RED STATE which is not really a bad horror/thriller film at all.
I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.
He gets the money from investors, of course. He spoke about inn the Q&A before the premier the other night.
You thought he uses his own money for his films? Not since Clerks ...
Most expensive mid-life crisis ever.
You who wish to conquer pain, you must learn to serve me well.
