Should I avoid it at all costs even though I have watched all of Kevin Smith's previous work, good or bad. For now I must say that for the past 12 years his work hasn't been the same, with his real highlights for me being Zack and Miri Make a Porno and Clerks II.
shareIt isn't a typical Kevin Smith movie, but it isn't MEANT to be. It is supposed to be an asinine parody of a horror flick. If you can remember that... It is silly and dorky but has some decent funny moments. Just don't expect that sly almost clever humor you see in his other movies. Has a great cast, though.
shareGood way to put it. It's set up as a typical horror/slasher where the first half is inane teens being dumb, then the second half gets to the killer or monsters or whatever. There's worse movies coming out, but also better ones as well. This falls somewhere in the middle.
