He really need to do better than that. Dude needs to find his mojo back before getting the Tobe Hooper/ Dario Argento syndrome, and finish his career with only turds for last movies. It's like 31 and DR have been directed by 2 different directors when comparing the qualities of both effort.
shareWhile I personally loved the version of this flick that has been released, I'll wait until seeing the director's cut to see how the true final product is. I too also hope for another movie with the famous Firefly's, but hope it's a presequel rather than a full sequel.
shareAgreed. It would piss me off if the Firefly family was somehow alive after that amazing ending. I think most of those actors could do something taking place before that film and still pull it off, they all pretty much look the same.
shareMy thoughts exactly. The presequel could honestly take place a day or two before the events in TDR, since Rejects is supposed to take place a few weeks after House of 1000 Corpses.
shareI gotta say that DR was likely the ZENITH of Zombie's movie career...I saw it in theaters and when I left the theater felt like I just got off an intense roller coaster...seriously. I was rooting for the sheriff when he started "punishing" the Firefly's, the emotion when the Firefly's make their last stand...the soundtrack ENHANCED the experience! Just a great flick...RZ hasn't been able to duplicate that since IMO.
I'm all for a prequel with new cast, I've always said the Firefly family movies SHOULD be a trilogy. Don't know why, but it bugs me when there's only 2 films in a series. lol.
