I'm not talking about the cuts to get an r-rating. The guerilla, shaky-cam, choppy editing just destroyed this movie. The movie as a whole is bad, no question. But it is made worst by how poorly it was put the together in the cutting room. Along with poor cinematography.
I just finished watching and you're completely right. I wasn't even expecting much but this movie was a complete disaster.
shareIf I had to take a shot in the dark, I think the cuts for the R probably had a lot to do with this, actually. It's entirely possible that, rather than cutting scenes entirely, they simply cut out clear shots of gore.
