Massively disappointing!

Just finished watching it on a night shift at work.......what a let down! A friend told me it was "brutal" and being a huge gore hound and a fan of The Devils Rejects I was excited to watch it. Maybe I'm just desensitized to ultra violence etc (woooo, big man) but it wasn't brutal at all! It reminded me of (spits) Hostel 3 in that most of the death scenes were viewed in such a way that you didn't really see anything, and it was so dark you I could barely see anything!
I also found Richard Brake's character "Doom-Head" over the top and annoying. He didn't strike me as threatening at all!
I don't get how the film had to be cut 3 times to get passed. Pretty weak.

On the plus side it features some amazing music and I could look at SMZ all day but no, this is NOT a good film.

Wait for the director's cut before making a final conclusion.

Unless the director's cut is 90% footage of another film it's not really going to get any better. I seriously doubt that a few extra crotch shots and a little more gore is going to improve this laughably poorly written and acted film.
