The Title '31'

Ok doesn't look like anyone has commented on this?
I was wondering why the game/film was called 31 as nothing seemed to fit that number until I realised it was on Halloweem every year "31"st of October... Take it that's correct?
GREAT film by the way, a real return to form by Zombie.

And if I'm right this movie is basically called Halloween, think about that for a second... Rob Zombie finally makes a good Halloween movie (although to be fair I thought his remake and sequel were passable)

reply

Cragworth, i'm unsure of this as well. i assume your guess that it's just a Halloween/31st of October thing is correct.

reply

It's called 31 because Zombie read a statistic saying more people disappear on Halloween then any other day...

reply

Is the statistic true or total superstition?, I've always thought it was superstition

reply

It appears to be false.

reply

Yeah, read an interview where he discusses the title, and gives this as the reason.

3.1 is about what the rating of this farce should be on here.

31 might be accurate as to the amount of times that I literally laughed out loud at how horribly it was written.

31 is definitely the amount of times I wanted to punch his wife in her face.

$31 is how much it would take me watch it again.

If I met Rob Zombie, the first two things I would ask him is why he promotes crap metal from Asia and when he is reimbursing me for the money for renting this piece of crap. Owes me money for both Halloweens and Lords of Salem too.

At this point, I wouldn't watch something he made if it was based on the 1997 Detroit Red Wings.

reply

Lol he owes you money for 31 when you watched and hated his previous three movies? Sounds like you are addicted to paying to see movies you know you are going to hate, or you just get off on seeing things you know you will hate so you can complain about them. Why should you get any refund?
