Hahaha exactly what I was thinking. But considering some of the crap I watch I'm in no position to judge so to each their own!
shareRob and Sheri's exact words on Facebook and the official website were "Available for purchase on DVD/Blu-Ray October 21st." I'm starting to think that's the date it will be available for pre-orders and not the actual release date. If it were being released in 2 weeks we'd surely know more about it.
shareI haven't heard much news, either. And call me selfish, or whatever you want, but backers of the film seem to not be getting any sort of advantage other than their copy will be uncut and autographed. However, I know the uncut version will be released to all at some point.
Saying that, is anyone else a backer that expected to receive the film already? The backers page always said "once the film is released domestically" so that should mean they'll start shipping on 10/21. No?
I've still seen no evidence this is being released on DVD/Blu-Ray the 21st besides Rob and Sheri Moon Zombie's claims. It isn't available for pre-order anywhere which is very strange for a movie that will supposedly be released in 11 days. I don't know how this studio does it but I've seen some studios that have their movies available for pre-order on Amazon months in advance. Also no announcements on extra features...not even a picture of the cover art.
I'm still leaning towards the 21st being the date it'll start to be available for pre-orders and we all just misinterpreted it. But I guess no one knows for sure since no one's been able to answer my questions.
The movie is confirmed for December 20th release on disc. I guess that means backers need to wait another two months to get their copy. Even though you can buy or rent it on any streaming video service.
He can post on Facebook all he wants, but this doesn't make any sense to me.

Notice that article doesn't even mention anything about a theatrical/unrated version. If there's only one version of the film and we were misled about that, too; I won't even know what to think. I'll just assume there is an unrated version until I hear otherwise, though.
shareRob (or his social media mgr.) posted today that the Blu-Ray copies have been signed and shipped. Finally!
