I LOVED the ending

That ending was so epic, with Dream On playing while Doom Head slowly walked toward Charlie and just stood there grinning ear to ear. I love it when Rob does endings like that where we got a classic song from the 70's playing while the ending plays out.

Still think Devil Reject's with Free Bird playing was more epic but this ending is definitely right behind it. Rob really knows how to pick great songs for his movies.

Doom Head is without a doubt the best character he's ever created, Richard Brake deserved an oscar for that performance.

Thats what i love about these high school girls, i get older they stay the same age.

The ending to Jaws is epic lol

The ending was hokey. I knew he'd fade out or cut away before anything happened there, and I was right.

Yeah, was hoping we'd get one final fight scene. Maybe even see her go primal on his ass by biting a piece of his face off.

Agreed, doomhead was easily the best part of the movie. I don't think he killed her, I think he recruited her.

Brake was laughable at best

I did to. But only because it was finally over. I couldn't believe I sat through the whole thing. This movie is right up there with some of the worst *beep* I've ever subjected myself to.

I thought the ending was horrible.
Doom Head played better as a person that just "played the game." The thrill of the hunt. He seemed to be a guy in the movie that had principles. Talked "philosophically," gave them some time to mourn their dead friend before he continued, talked about it all like it was soldiers in a war, etc. Him letting her walk away because she survived the time limit and won, would have worked far better for his character. But just being some guy that couldn't let a broken and defeated woman go, even though she earned the right to go, just ruined any depth they had established to his character before that.

He should have offered to give her a ride or something...considering it seemed he was playing by the games "rules" and how he seemed to switch on and off when necessary.

reply

I think he was paid to finish her off, rather than him holding a grudge that she won.

The part where Doom-head said he would feel pretentious if he smoked a pipe made me roll my eyes, because everything the guy said was extremely pretentious.
