I thought the Blu Ray was unrated?

No, we all assumed the DVD/Blu-Ray was going to be unrated when he talked about having to cut it down three times to get an R-rating but that doesn't seem the case. I'm a member of a Rob Zombie films group on Facebook and people there swear up and down that the unrated version will come out next month, but I haven't found anything outside the group to verify that.

Realistically, though, that wouldn't make any sense. Why would they release the theatrical version now and the unrated a month later? Why not release both at the same time? Maybe just so they'll be guaranteed twice the money? I guess that's why they own a movie studio and I don't. But I still don't believe it.

EDIT: I bet this is where they got the idea. If you search "31 unrated DVD release date" on Google a few articles come up where Rob mentions releasing the unrated version. The articles are dated January of 2016. I imagine people just saw the word "January" and jumped to some false conclusions.

I used to be a fan of this hack. He's all lies and self promotion. When house of a 1000 corpses was getting released he talked abt all the cuts he had to make an blah blah blah. Said we would get an uncut version. The DVD is the theatrical. Then he says after he's finished writing the script to the second one we'd get the uncut version. Never happens and never brought up again. Now he says the footage has been lost. Chances are u will never see a 31 uncuf bc chances are it doesn't exists. He enticed u all with promises of gore and violence bc he knows his audience and knows how to make a buck. thats why I turned my back on him a while ago. He's a hack fraud, yuppie with tattoos and a gimmick.
