My patience for expecting better from Mr. Zombie dried up long, long ago. Alas what were are left to view is a barely cohesive ham fisted "horror" "film". All the crippling hallmarks of Mr. Zombies previous movies from past years are lazily peppered throughout. Imagine in your head a film that has endless extended scenes of hillbilly Hitler clowns trying so desperately to come across as menacing as they confront their prey. I frequently fantasized of a less annoying movie where you actually have to give a *beep* about the characters and their plight instead of wallowing in the creatively empty mind of one director who still fetishsizes an array of old horror films without adding anything to those sometimes boring tropes.
