A GREAT MOVIE!!

...I have enjoyed ALL of Rob Zombie's films, and this was no exception! It combines the gritty '70's throwback style of "Devil's Rejects" & "House of 1000 Corpses", with the understated themes of "Lords of Salem" and "Halloween II". Namely, as the Kafka quote alludes in the beginning, that the whole movie is meant to be perceived as a metaphor for the "inevitability and acceptance of Death". That quote, along with Doom-Head's amazing monologues, make it quite clear to me what you are meant to take away from this film. Sadly, the message and meaning will be lost on most of the audience... But I appreciated seeing it so well-realized!

Hey, KolobosRexx,

Bravo!!! Truly GREAT, GREAT post!!! Agree 100% with EVERYTHING you said.

Two days ago I saw it for the 5th time and it's so great. And so fvçk!n entertaining as well! Time passes by so quickly when you see it. Great movie. I think, regarding Rob's filmography, either only TDR surpasses it or it's a tie.

Best regards,
