lack of cellphones?
in 2005, everyone had dumb phones, especially rich privileged kids
shareI can only speak for myself, and I was class of 2004 so am admittedly a tad older than these kids were supposed to be. But yes, a LOT of people had cell phones by 2005, but they were NOT like how they were today. And they were NOT glued to people hands like they are today either. Text messaging was pretty much the only cool thing to do on a phone at that point, and it was still a developing trend and plenty of people weren’t even doing that much.
