So is this indeed a true sequal to Predator 2??
...or does it take place after Predators? I still can't tell...
shareAccording to Shane Black, yes it is a sequel to Predator 2. The character Jake Busey plays, Sean Keyes, is the son of Paul Keyes from Predator 2. Moreover, when Olivia Munn’s character sees the alien tech collection, one of the masks there seems to be the one the Predator dropped in Los Angeles. One of the spears there also looks like the one used in that same movie.
As for Predators, there’s no real references to that movie but Black did say The Predator was supposed to be set before it.
also there was reference to visitations in 1987 and 97 (when P2 was set)
