This is my new favorite Christmas movie.
With a message of hope more believable than the others.

I sure as hell liked it. Better Christmas movie than most. Then again, I hate Christmas movies that are rated anything less than R. :P
shareAgree. A little gem of a movie. All the elements of a bittersweet Christmas story.
shareThat's actually a great point, the one about hope. Some people called this movie bleak and tragic, others enjoyed the black humor, I found it lovely and definitely not tragic, but yours was the word that fitted perfectly in the reading I'd stick to: hopeful. Hope for human care and acceptance in spite of bad blood, in our case - in spite of sleeping with your best friend's fiance. Those two girls got back to being two against the world, and I loved it. I'm not even close to facing the hardships they had to suffer, but I still wish I had an equally effective washing machine for the ruined friendships from my life, whatever the reason for the fall out.
there's a highway that is curling up like smoke above her shoulder
I'm going to make it my new Xmas tradition, and watch this, and drink a little urine, and then cry cry cry. #lifeismeaningful
