How did they make that guy vomit?
They threw that in as a surprise. And it was disgusting.
That was some of the best fake vomiting ever. Usually the actor does a weird coughing thing. This vomiting looks so real.
It's ok to like more than one actor. :))
And they surprised us too. I hate hate hate vomit scenes. Really changes the whole film for me.

I only saw some of the film because the first 20 minutes were on the hard drive after another movie I recorded. But wow, that vomiting scene was incredibly real. I knew someone would post a thread about it. I'm not sure whether I may come back and watch the whole film one day.
shareIt may be real. James Mcavoy vomits on-cue onscreen; everytime he vomits in a film, it's him. So, who's to say these guys didn't really vomit.
shareThat's why I'm asking. It looked very real. Even outside the car. Unappreciated by be that's for sure. Just stupid and disgusting. IMO
FAKE obviously in Behind The Candelabra.
I just read an article yesterday (sorry, I don't have the link at hand) which said that, yes, in fact, it was real. I believe it said that the actor got drunk beforehand and that he continued vomiting all afternoon and had to be "babysat".
shareA mouthful of some kind of soup, usually cream of celery or mushroom and gagging noise will look real.
share100% real. the actor can vomit on cue. He had a pancake breakfast to prep. Also. Director Sean Baker has a vomit moment in all of his films. Usually prepped with ipecac!
